1. Open the agent form

Sign in to teleCaller, open Agents, and select New agent. An agent contains the voice and instructions used when you assign it to contacts.

2. Give the agent a clear identity

Enter an Agent name such as “Course enquiry assistant”. Use Description to explain its purpose so your team can choose the right agent later.

3. Choose a voice

In Voice & tone, choose a Voice profile. Use Preview voices to listen to samples, then return to the form and select the voice you want.

4. Write the core instructions

Under System prompt, fill in Core instructions. Explain who the agent represents, the purpose of the call, what it should ask, and how it should finish. Give it the facts it needs and tell it how to respond when information is missing.

Example for a first test call
You are an AI calling assistant for our team.
Introduce yourself as an AI assistant and explain that this is a test call.
Ask whether the person can hear you clearly. Wait for their answer.
Ask whether they have a question about this test.
Do not invent product details, pricing, or promises.
If they are busy or want to stop, acknowledge that and close politely.
When finished, thank them and end the call.

For a more detailed prompt, follow the prompt-writing guide or adapt the student course-enquiry example.

5. Save and prepare a test contact

Select Create agent. After saving, you return to Agents. Creating the agent saves its configuration; calls begin when you assign it to contacts and select Start calling.

Next, create a contact list and follow the first-call walkthrough. Check the greeting, voice, and ending before using the agent for a larger batch.
