How campaigns work in teleCaller

A calling campaign starts from a caller list: you select contacts, choose an agent, and launch a call assignment. In Call Logs, these assignments appear as call batches. The current dashboard uses this flow rather than a separate campaign creation page.

1. Prepare the agent and audience

Create an agent with instructions for one clear goal, then prepare a caller list with the contact details it needs. Use a descriptive list name to identify the audience.

Before launching a batch, complete a first test call and review its result. Check that your organization has available minute credits in Billing.

2. Select the contacts to call

Open the list in Caller Lists. Use the row checkboxes to select the contacts for this batch. The header checkbox toggles the records on the current page; it does not select the entire list across all pages.

Review the selected count before continuing, especially if you have moved between pages. The call button displays Call N contacts, with your selected count in place of N.

3. Choose the agent

Select the call button to open Make call. Use Search agents... if needed, then choose the agent from Select an agent. Confirm the list name and selected record count in the dialog.

4. Launch the batch

Select Start calling when you are ready to place real outbound calls. This submits the assignment for processing. Calls may wait for available capacity; submitting the batch does not mean every contact has already been reached.

If an error appears, resolve it before submitting again. For a credit error, check Billing or ask your organization’s billing administrator for help.

5. Review campaign results

Open Call Logs, find the assignment, and expand its row to inspect individual sessions. Review statuses, call outcomes, durations, and recordings when available. A completed call alone does not establish that your campaign goal was met; check the recorded outcome too.

Use the results to refine the agent’s instructions or contact data before launching another batch. Review earlier sessions before selecting the same contacts again, because a new assignment can place another call.
